Causes of boiler fan vibration

The use of boiler fan in general is no noise, no vibration. However, under the influence of the external environment and internal conditions of the operation of the boiler fan, the boiler fan may have noise and vibration failures.

Different treatment methods are adopted according to different situations. There are many reasons for the vibration of boiler fan. Other reasons such as large deviation of coupling center, insufficient rigidity of foundation or base, vibration of prime mover, etc. are sometimes the result of various reasons. In practical work, we should conscientiously sum up experience, accumulate more data, grasp the state of the equipment, and find out the law of equipment deterioration. If problems arise, we can take corresponding measures to solve them.

The vibration suddenly rises during the operation of the boiler fan. This is due to the fact that when the gas enters the impeller, there is a certain angle with the rotating blade working surface. According to the principle of fluid mechanics, the gas must have a vortex in the non working surface of the blade, so the ash particles in the gas will slowly deposit on the non working surface due to the vortex effect. The blades of the boiler fan wing type are the most prone to dust accumulation. When the accumulation of ash reaches a certain weight, due to the centrifugal force of the impeller rotation, some large pieces of ash are thrown out of the impeller. Since the ash accumulation on each blade cannot be completely uniform and consistent, the time of the ash blocks that can be gathered or thrown away is not necessarily synchronized. As a result, the uneven ash accumulation on the blades leads to unbalanced mass distribution of the impeller, which increases the vibration of the boiler fan.
