Emergency shutdown of centrifugal fan is treated differently from normal shutdown.

When the centrifugal fan is running, there will be a stop. The shutdown of the centrifugal fan is not what we think. Just turn off the switch and turn off the power supply. The shutdown of the centrifugal fan requires certain steps at a certain time.

1. Emergency shutdown: During the trial operation of the unit, emergency shutdown shall be carried out immediately in case of any of the following circumstances. The operation of emergency shutdown is to press the stop button of the main motor, and then deal with the aftermath after shutdown.

① The centrifugal fan suddenly vibrates strongly and has exceeded the trip value.

② there is scratching or abnormal friction sound inside the body.

③ smoke from any bearing or seal, or the temperature of a bearing rises sharply to the alarm value.

④ When the oil pressure is lower than the alarm value and cannot return to normal.

⑤ The liquid level of the oil tank is low, and there has been a phenomenon of suction.

⑥ When the axis displacement value shows obvious continuous growth and reaches the alarm value.

2. Normal shutdown: The normal shutdown of the unit shall be operated according to the following procedures.

① gradually open the vent valve (or outlet bypass valve), and gradually close the exhaust valve.

② gradually close the intake throttle to 20~25 degrees.

③ Press the stop button and pay attention to whether there are any abnormal phenomena during the stop.

④ after the unit stops for 5~10min, or when the bearing temperature drops below 45 ℃, oil supply can be stopped. For units with floating ring seals, the sealed oil pump must continue to supply oil until the body temperature is below 80°C.
